Our Goal
To climb the peak of Mt. Kitanglad

Our mountain climbing were too wonderful, it is mix of adventure, challenge and fun. Me and my officemates where gone to different places but what really challenged me most was when I climbed the peak of Mt. kitanglad not to mention the difficult trail and the cold atmosphere there.
From Cagayan de Oro City to Bukidnon, we arrived at almost 9:00pm and that was the time when our journey started.We spent our night at the staffhouse and afterwards as the sun rises we start our mountain climbing with complete mountain climbing gears: tent, sleeping bag, climbing utensils (including the small burner enough to cook our meals during our stopover.)
I admit, I’m a beginner in mountain climbing you couldn’t expect much more of my expertise!! hehehe. BUT! What I’ve done was really amazing! though as a beginners like me considered it was very difficult.
The water source was to amazing and cool! As a typical female, I’m really scared walking in a very dark area. I’m getting nervous when it was already dark and were still in the middle of forest not yet arrived in the Bunkhouse (located at the peak of the MT. Kitanglad) not to mention the different noise that bothers me: crickets and other animals I don’t know.
We arrived at the peak at almost 8:30 pm. The temperature was too low and even my jacket cant give me much warm. So I decided to borrow someones jacket! hehehe.
Morning after, we have our pictorials of the wonderful view downwards of Mt. Kitanglad. The amazing Glory of the creation of our God. Its peacefulness and the breathtaking beauty of this view:

As I went home, I couldn’t stop myself smiling with so much content in my face. I did it with flying colors to climb this mountain! I’m tired but happy for this is one of my great memorable adventures I’ve ever done in my whole life.
